He could be promising for Nebraska football
Umanmielen measures in at six-foot-four, 225 pounds. He fires off the ball quickly, and that allows him to get to the quarterback with ease. Explosion is something that is instantly noticeable with the way he plays, and his physicality off the line of scrimmage also stands out. Nebraska football has been looking for edge-rushers, and he would fit the bill.
Nebraska football head coach Matt Rhule has been recruiting the state of Texas quite a bit over the past couple of days. Texas is a recruiting focus for this coaching staff, and it’s clear that Rhule wants to make an effort to recruit there. The program has a clear emphasis on certain areas of the country, and Texas is one of them.
Getting Umanmielen to visit campus could bode well for Nebraska, as they continue to implement their recruiting strategy.
